This Application collects and uses information for the following purposes.

  • Advertisement Delivery: Delivering appropriate advertisements (planned for future implementation)
  • Usage Analytics: Analyzing application usage patterns (planned for future implementation)
  • Receipt Analysis: Extracting items, prices, and quantities from receipt images through OCR functionality
  • Authentication: Preventing unauthorized access during API usage (device ID-based authentication)

2. Types of Information Collected

This Application collects the following information.

2.1 Local Storage (Stored on Device)

  • Session History: Information about past bill-splitting sessions
  • Member Information: Member names, initials, color settings, avatar emojis
  • Receipt Items: Item names, prices, quantities
  • Assignment Information: Information about who was assigned which items
  • Rounding Settings: Settings for rounding up, down, etc.

2.2 Information Sent to Server

  • Receipt Images: When using the OCR functionality, receipt image data is sent to the OCR API. The sent image is immediately discarded after analysis. Images are not stored.
  • Device ID: Used only for authentication during API usage and is not visible to users. This information is not provided to third parties.
  • Usage Data: We may collect application usage data through analytics functionality to be implemented in the future.

2.3 Location Information

Currently, this Application does not collect location information. We have no plans to collect location information in the future.

3. Provision to Third Parties

Collected information may be provided to the following third-party services.

3.1 OCR API

  • Recipient: API server operated by our company (api-gpt.eerf0309.workers.dev)
  • Information Provided: Receipt image (Base64 encoded)
  • Purpose of Provision: Extracting items, prices, and quantities through OCR analysis
  • Handling: Images are immediately discarded after analysis and are not stored

3.2 Google Services (Planned for Future Implementation)

  • Google Analytics 4: Used for usage analytics. May use tracking via cookies and advertising identifiers. For details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • AdMob: Used for advertisement delivery. May use tracking via cookies and advertising identifiers. For details, please refer to AdMob's Privacy Policy.
  • Data Sharing: We will not provide personal information to Google or other third parties without your explicit consent.

4. Data Retention Period and Management Methods

4.1 Storage Location

  • Local Storage: Application data is stored only on the user's device (AsyncStorage).
  • Cloud Storage: Currently, we do not store data in the cloud.

4.2 Retention Period

  • Local Storage: Stored as long as the application is used and until the application is uninstalled.
  • OCR Images: Immediately discarded after sending and are not stored.
  • Device ID: Used only for API authentication and is not stored.

4.3 Data Deletion

Users can delete all data stored in local storage at any time by uninstalling the application. Individual deletion of session history is also possible within the application.

5. User Rights

Users have the following rights.

  • Request for Disclosure: You may request disclosure of your own information held by us.
  • Request for Deletion: You may request deletion of data that is no longer needed.
  • Request for Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request for Cessation of Use: You may request cessation of use of information.

6. Security

We strive to protect user information and implement physical, electronic, and administrative measures. However, as 100% security cannot be guaranteed for internet-based communications, users should take responsibility for protecting their own information.

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. If there are significant changes, we will notify you through in-app notifications or our website. Continued use after changes is deemed to constitute agreement to the changes.
